Farewell to Clyde Fowler, respected local artist and influential teacher at UNCSA
Farewell to Clyde Fowler, respected local artist and influential teacher at UNCSA: My last conversation with Clyde Fowler, at an exhibition of his paintings in downtown Winston-Salem, seems like a recent memory. Checking my records, I see that it was actually about 18 months ago, but time has a way of temporarily collapsing in the wake of an unexpected death.
